This Tequila is simply outstanding. A few drops of water and a couple of minutes to rest unlock a remarkable experience. Spicy pepper notes and smooth blue agave are complemented by a flavor explosion of vanilla and buttery toffee. It's pure delight in a glass. This Tequila is suitable for casual sipping or as a delightful dessert accompaniment. It's harder to find than its quality warrants. I purchased a bottle in Milwaukee for approximately $40, and it was well worth the cost. If you encounter it, purchase it without hesitation.

About this bottle
This reposado tequila is part of the Dos Lunas Spirits collection. It originates from Jalisco and is crafted using 100% organically cultivated blue weber agave. Following a double distillation process, the spirit matures for 9 months in both new oak barrels and used Tennessee bourbon whiskey casks. It is bottled without any additives such as glycerin, which is often incorporated to enhance the spirit's smoothness.

Smells nice, very light. I like it. Taste wise. At first, there is a slight alcohol burn, not as smooth as I like but not terrible. Nice sweet flavor of caramel or vanilla hits your lips and stays with you a bit. Little more of a burn going down that lingers. All in all, not terrible but just a bit too harsh for the sweet flavors in my opinion. For the price, surely worth a try if you see it.
