Casa Don Ramón, established in 1996, utilizes 100% blue Weber agave sourced from Jalisco's Highlands for its Punta Diamante line. Following its harvest and processing, the agave undergoes double distillation and is then aged in oak for a minimum of two months.

Agave aromas are present, as is brown sugar, which is rather surprising in a tequila. Slight hints of honey and pear too. Generally very mild. On the palate, tastes of agave, mild alcohol, and a little residual sugar. The finish is fruity, a bit herbal, but the agave essence is dominant.
Sweet caramel agave with a subtle oaky conclusion and a finish that is surprisingly smooth and clean. Undeniably among the premier reposados available for under $30. It stands up to reposados priced in the $60+ range.
Smooth and well-balanced, this aged Tequila wonderfully combines spice and sweetness. Long honey notes persist on the palate, fading with a pleasant hint of cayenne-ginger heat.
It smells and tastes like tequila, with a very smooth and velvety texture. The finish begins sweet, with a touch of vanilla, then turns spicy and lasts a medium amount of time.
Smells very smooth and almost like a whiskey. Tastes quite smooth as well with fairly moderate flavor. Overall, a decent tequila.
Notes of pepper, vanilla, wood, and sugary agave.
