It starts out sweet, then evolves into distinct vegetal and herbaceous notes. You'll find lime zest, bell pepper, and some heat from jalapeño. There's a moderate mineral quality, a touch of salt, and a more intense smoky wood flavor, possibly mesquite, but it's a fantastic mezcal no matter what.

The scents are pleasing, with cooked agave, asparagus, and vanilla. The flavors are similar. It's still good, though there's a slight rubbery note in the aftertaste. The alcohol doesn't have much of a kick.
