A potent, unaged Agave Spirit made from 100% agave cultivated in Jalisco, Mexico. It begins aromatically with hints of agave, earth, fruits, botanicals & spices; a botanical & slightly creamy character follows, adding notes of creamy butter; leading to a rich, warm, and refreshing finish of medium duration with notes of pepper. The aroma has some dark fruit, cream, and cola. The flavor has herbal notes like anise and maybe a little clove, with some raisin and a sweetness similar to a Belgian strong ale. The finish is a bit drier, still herbal, with a little spice. Yet another excellent offering from 1146.
It's quite vegetal. Too strong for mixed drinks, in my opinion. Re-evaluated later, this is clearly best appreciated on its own as a sipper.

A pleasant flavor, and it goes down smoothly.
