About this bottle
Alto Canto High Proof Blanco Tequila is made with 100% organic blue Weber agave cultivated at an elevation of 9,000 feet in the Jalisco highlands. This additive-free tequila is produced at Tequila El Rocio, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1636). The agave is cooked for 72 hours in a masonry oven, processed with a traditional tahona, and undergoes wild and malolactic fermentation in American oak barrels. Distillation occurs on alembic pot stills, after which the spirit is bottled at 96 proof.
