About this bottle

Santo Spirits, a brand of tequila and mezcal, was founded by Sammy Hagar and Guy Fieri. This añejo tequila is their fifth expression and, like prior tequila bottlings, uses 100% blue weber agaves cultivated on their estate in Jalisco's Highlands. Following distillation, the tequila is aged for approximately 24 months in barrels previously used for American whiskey. Produced at NOM 1107, it contains no additives. Availability commenced in June 2023 with a suggested retail price of $74.98.

This one boasts a pleasant aroma. The agave is noticeable, and the oak is quite prominent. There's pepper and caramel, alongside an unidentified spice. The overall scent is rich and displays good complexity. The taste doesn't hit as hard. Agave and deep caramel appear right away. A subtle sweetness, less bothersome than many recent tequilas I've encountered. It concludes with a dark profile that persists pleasantly.

Jamal Beavers 4.0

Very tasty and smooth. Almost too easy to drink. Lacks some intensity compared to other añejos, however.
