An elegant, Bas-Armagnac Hors d’âge by Domaine Tariquet from Tariquet, France, distilled from 60% Ugni Blanc & 40% Baco grapes and aged for at least 15 years in oak before bottling. It begins aromatically with notes of freshly baked bread, warm-weather florals & dried fruits; its elegant & velvety middle adds notes of stewed fruits, fresh plum, currants, clove, dried ginger, hints of tangy oak, truffle, pecan & orange zest; culminating in a delicate end with hints of bitter dark chocolate, honey, dried cherry & apricot.
