This might be one of the best value Caribbean rums available. Compared directly to Myer's, it's both cheaper and more representative of older, funkier dark Jamaican rum styles. This rum presents a strong pineapple note on the nose, along with molasses and baking spices. Coruba doesn't pretend to be sophisticated or refined, which is precisely why it's such a fantastic mixing rum, particularly in tiki cocktails. Judging its sip-ability misses the entire point.
