This robust pot still rum, after adjusting to the higher alcohol content, presents notes of molasses, tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, butterscotch, and a hint of chocolate. The aroma emphasizes the fruit and caramel. It can be enjoyed neat, though it's a bit warm. It would also perform well in a Mai Tai. Enjoy.

109 proof. Aged in former bourbon barrels. Notes of toasted molasses, charred oak, cinnamon, charred caramel, toasted banana, vanilla, coconut, sugar cookies, honey, a hint of sour grape, brown sugar, blueberries, cherry, chocolate, butter popcorn, pineapple, toasted mangos, strawberries, wine, brownies.
Banana and molasses aromas, the palate has a lot of molasses, some funk, and a slight hint of balsamic. It definitely gives off a "made for cocktails" vibe, but it's a pleasant enough spirit to drink on its own, though not as much as most other WPs I've had.
Nose of fermented green bananas and dates. Bold notes of raisins, prunes, and dates. Drying sensation, sweetness lingers on the cheeks. The alcohol strength hits in the finish, providing a long, rum-like sensation. A high-quality mixer.
It has a bit of harshness but generally tastes quite good.
Intensely earthy yet smooth.
