Coruba Dark Rum is a common component in tropical mixed drinks due to its affordability, distinct character, and robust flavor. It is frequently employed to add depth to tiki drinks and effectively complements strong citrus notes. This rum is a combination of pot and column still distillates, aged for a minimum of two years in American oak barrels.

*DISCLAIMER My reviews are not palate reviews, they are based on “am I going waste my money on a bottle of this or save my money for something better”* My personal favorite. Less expensive than most, but mixes wonderfully with a molasses character and deep rum notes. If I could select only one rum for the remainder of my life, this would be my choice.
A pleasant dark rum with Jamaican characteristics suitable for mixing. To me, it resembles a more affordable version of Appleton Rare. Definitely preferable to Gosling's Black Seal.
Offers molasses, funk, caramel, and a thick body. It's a little rough straight, but it shines in mixed drinks, particularly against sharp citrus flavors.
Very fruity aroma. Spicy, rich, sweet, and creamy on the palate. The finish is bitter. Easy to drink.
