About this bottle
Located in San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca, this mezcal is the creation of 6th-generation Mezcalero Daniel Hernandez. It is made from espadín agaves harvested after 8 or more years of growth. Traditional production methods are employed, including crushing the roasted agave with a mule-pulled tahona and open-air fermentation using natural yeasts. The Pechuga bottling incorporates local fruits, herbs, spices, and a turkey breast during the second distillation.
