Maine Distilleries produces Cold River Traditional Gin, emphasizing sustainable farm-to-glass practices. The potatoes are sourced from Green Thumb Farms, which is co-owned by a distillery founder. The gin starts as their potato-based vodka, triple-distilled in a copper pot still. Seven traditional botanicals—juniper, coriander, lemon peel, orange peel, cardamom, angelica root, and orris root—are steeped before distillation. It is bottled at 47% ABV.

This is the gin I like most. I enjoy it as a martini so I do not overpower its unique, amazing flavor. Gin is very personal. To me, Cold River Gin is the absolute BEST I've discovered!!!
