Maison Tessendier exclusively selects ugni blanc grapes from the four premier French growing regions: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. Unlike other brand expressions that draw from one to three regions, Cognac Park XO Traditional Reserve incorporates eaux-de-vie from all four. These are twice distilled in Charentais copper pot-stills and aged for 20 to 25 years. Initially matured in new, medium-toasted French Limousin oak casks for the first year, the spirit then undergoes secondary maturation in older barrels. The blend is ultimately bottled at 40% ABV.

Fourth of six drams from a sample collection of Park Cognac. This XO is reportedly crafted from a mix of 20 to 25-year-old brandies. The aroma begins with a pronounced oak presence, accompanied by faint hints of cocoa and prune. The palate is smooth with vanilla and black tea notes, but the finish seemed somewhat brief and uninspired. Rather disappointing following the VSOP and Borderies expressions.
