About this bottle
Cincoro Tequila was established by five NBA owners: Michael Jordan (Charlotte Hornets), Emilia Fazzalari and Wyc Grousbeck (Boston Celtics), Wes Edens (Milwaukee Bucks), and Jeanie Buss (Los Angeles Lakers). The Añejo tequila is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, harvested from both the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. Following a double distillation process, the tequila is aged for 24 to 28 months in former American whiskey barrels and bottled at 80 proof. The name Cincoro combines "cinco" (five) and "oro" (gold).

Tastes of chocolate, butterscotch, and baking spices with a velvety texture. It doesn't really showcase agave; it resembles bourbon more than a Blanco tequila.
Sweet, smooth, and tasty. Plenty of vanilla, quite distinctive. Not as good as Don Julio 1942, but more unique.
Very pleased. While the price is high (around $125 per bottle), it is very smooth and the presentation is excellent.
Excellent agave presence, this spirit is bright, delicate, and still possesses a pleasant warmth that rounds out this superb sipper.
A very rich tequila, exceptionally smooth, but perhaps overly sweet and heavily influenced by the wood.
