Charbay's Lot S 211A is a whiskey derived from Bear Republic's Big Bear Stout, which is brewed with five distinct malts and both Centennial and Cascade hops. The beverage is subjected to double distillation in a copper Alambic Charentais Pot Still and then matures for 29 months in used French Oak barrels.

Pleasant and smooth. The French oak barrels harmonize wonderfully with the stout fermentation. Good fruit flavors offer a nice, though occasionally bitter, contrast to these richer notes.
