About this bottle

Wolves Whiskey's The Malted Barley Series offers American single malt whiskeys, varying the barley type, origin, yeast, and malting process for each release. Master Distiller Marko Karakasevic distills all of them using a small alembic pot still from Cognac. Lot Two, distilled and barreled in 2012, utilized imported Irish malt and a California Ale. Following 11 years of aging, it was bottled and meticulously hand-labeled with bespoke sheepskin labels dyed matte black. Production was limited to 335 six-pack cases, with availability commencing August 31, 2023, through select retailers and e-commerce partners. The suggested retail price is $305.

Eve Dorn 5.0

Exceptional aroma with a vast spectrum of toffee, baking spices, barrel wood, and a hint of woodsmoke. The palate is surprisingly light for the high alcohol content. A nearly fizzy sensation on the tongue and palate leaves a subtle, slightly botanical taste. Distinctive flavors range from deep fudge to roasted nuts to chicory to baked bread, with the faintest trace of last night's bonfire. A glassful of discovery. The finish is exceptionally enduring and confident. A fantastic and unexpected whiskey.
