About this bottle
Part of Westland's Cask Exploration Series, this expression results from partnerships with Pacific Northwest brewers and vintners. The second batch of their Beer Cask Finish utilized Westland's characteristic five-malt grain bill, featuring Washington pale malt. The whiskey first aged in new American oak, ex-rye, and ex-bourbon barrels. It then underwent a finishing period in Pacific Northwest beer barrels, such as stout/porter, brown ale, Imperial Munich lager, and foudre ale. Aged for six to nine years, this bottling is at 92 proof, with 12,840 units produced for batch 2. It will be offered at the distillery and online starting August 2025, with broader U.S. distribution commencing in September 2025. (Suggested retail price: $74.99)
