If you can sip and go in minutes... skip this one... and you're making a mistake!! This Camus XO needs time, a lot I mean, to get it expresses in glass.. At first, its smell contains aromas of orange peel, orange zest, and distinctive smoke. Even the alcohol itself still not harsh, it's all gentle. After waiting for a long time... it shows aromas of vanilla, honey, caramel, floral, spice and interesting aroma of herbs.. with continuously smoke aroma. When sip it, it's a beautiful thing in mouth... with great body and very mellow... Very luscious with independent character.. very complex by all means. Aftertaste is very long, with notes of smoke and herb more than vanilla and caramel in background. If loving complexness, like drinking good wine, and able to wait long, this is the one for you!!

About this bottle
The House of CAMUS has introduced a new XO blend for its Prestige Decanter, utilizing the brand's "Instensity" distillation technique and unfiltered wines (on the lees) from various crus, including Borderies. The blend is aged for a minimum of ten years in small oak barrels with fine grains that have been toasted, with a portion undergoing a second toasting in re-toasted barrels. The decanter is designed for reuse, reflecting the "Arts de la Table" tradition, as its subtle side label can be easily removed. It is scheduled for availability in June 2023 with a suggested retail price of $349.
