In 1999, in Esmeraldas, Euler Chaves decided to invest in high-quality cachaça using part of his property. During a visit to the Federal University of Lavras, he learned about a new, hygienic manufacturing process that respected the environment. The entrepreneur acquired specialized yeasts, a significant innovation at the time. Cachaça Prazer de Minas combines Minas Gerais tradition with modern methods. The sugar cane is selected, harvested, washed, and pressed to extract pure juice, which is fermented naturally in stainless steel tanks in a climate-controlled room. Distillation occurs in copper stills heated by a boiler. Only the best portion of the distillate is aged. These factors contribute to Prazer de Minas being one of Brazil's most awarded cachaças. This specific cachaça is aged for four years in American oak barrels, is light, and has 39% ABV. It features a modern design with unique packaging and a square bottle. Source: Cachaçaria Nacional.
