In a village named "Bichinho", close to the historic Tiradentes in the state of Minas Gerais, a retired couple established the distillery. The still offers visitor amenities and welcomes guided excursions. The cachaça produced by the still, known as Mazuma Mineira, is matured in various wooden casks. This particular sample spent 1 year aging in American oak barrels. Observations: It has a golden yellow hue with an aromatic profile featuring notes of vanilla, coconut, dried fruits, and spices. The alcohol is well-balanced, contributing a woody character and a lengthy finish. Information obtained from the Mazuma Mineira website.
