Cachaça Flor das Gerais is made in Felixlândia, located in the Central region of Minas Gerais. The first still was established in the early 20th century by the family patriarch, who oversaw production until the 1940s, when the craft was passed to one of his three sons. Flor das Gerais Extra Premium Amburana is aged for four years in Amburana vats. It was released in 2023 and received a gold medal at the 2023 Brussels World Competition. This cachaça holds both an organic product seal and a sustainable product seal. It was also recognized as the best cachaça for preparing the Rabo de Galo cocktail in national competitions in São Paulo in June 2023, and in regional competitions in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, in July 2023.
