This Cachaça Divina d'Minas Guanandi comes from Barbacena - MG. Guanandi wood is a novel element in cachaça aging. This type of wood is also recognized as Jacareúba. It imparts slightly sweet notes, a straw hue, and crystal clarity to the spirit, with tears that are not particularly viscous. A gentle spiciness enhances the enjoyable tasting experience. The finish is smooth and subtly sweet with minimal acidity, leaving a strong desire for another taste. The Base Guanandi da Divina d'Minas initiative was launched to introduce something fresh to the cachaça market. Cachaça Divina D’Minas Guanandi was matured in a 700-liter barrel from Garças-SP, where this tree was planted over 28 years ago for commercial purposes. The barrel was made in Garças and brought to the Divina d'Minas cellar in early 2021. The plan involved releasing a limited run featuring cachaça aged in Guanandi. We developed two blends, which, along with cachaça aged in Guanandi, constitute the trio making up the edition named Base Guanandi. This edition concluded with a total of 700 bottles distributed among the types. Consequently, this is a singular batch. Found at Cachaça Empório Cachaça Canela-de-Ema.
