CACHAÇA CATARINA BLACK EXTRA PREMIUM

A steamship arrived from Italy in 1889, and passengers producers of wine and brandy sought land. They established a city, and one of their sons, seeking to honor his mother, named a new farm after her. This farm now cultivates sugarcane, utilized for everything from sugar to bioenergy and their cachaça. In 2008, the farm's owners created a distillery focused on producing high-quality cachaça, which has earned numerous awards. This distillery is the home of CACHAÇA CATARINA, named for the matriarch who inspired it. CACHAÇA CATARINA Black spent two years in used American oak barrels, followed by another year in Jatobá wood. It offers significant sensory complexity, showcasing American oak notes alongside herbaceous characteristics from the Jatobá. The spirit has a reddish-brown hue. Source: Empório Canela de Ema website.
