Cachaça Caraçuípe honors the memory of the Coutinho family. Behind the products lies the revival of tradition and family expertise that has spanned generations, positioning Alagoas among the top cachaça producers nationally. Driven by the desire to reclaim the family's history, sugarcane producer Renato Coutinho pursued the dream of his grandfather Antonio and uncle Benedito, who acquired the mill in 1933. Even then, the two brothers consistently engaged in rich discussions about life and work, and successfully executed a series of prosperous ventures in sugar enterprises. Cachaça Caraçuípe Bálsamo is part of the “Brazilian Woods” collection. The “Double Cask” approach, involving six months of aging in Jequitibá Rosa vats and another six months in Bálsamo, ensures a high quality standard and a distinct experience. The taste is smooth, while the aroma carries slightly citrusy notes. It pairs well with: Red meat, particularly pork and spicy dishes. SOURCE: Cachaçaria Nacional & Cachaças do Nordeste.
