Bulrush Gin draws its name from a wetland sedge plant indigenous to South Carolina, the location of its distillery. Twelve globally sourced botanicals, including three varieties of orange peel, coriander, angelica, lavender, ginger, and juniper, are used in its creation. The gin undergoes a dual botanical infusion process: first, a maceration with neutral wheat spirit before pot-distillation, and subsequently, vapor infusion after distillation. It is bottled in 500-unit batches at 44% ABV.

Nose: Sweet, with juniper and lemon. Taste: Lavender is prominent, accompanied by good juniper spice. Finish: Thin and smooth. Almost no burn. Gin and tonic: The gin complements the lime well, but the gentle finish is somewhat overpowered by the tonic water.
Sampled this in a G&T. Paired with Fever Tree Light tonic water, it was garnished with two orange peels, their oils expressed over the drink and also rubbed around the glass's edge.
I don't typically go for gin. This one, however, offers a wonderfully crisp herbal and berry flavor.
