About this bottle
The name Bruxo originates from a blend of the Spanish word "brujo" (meaning wise) and "Oaxaca," the Mexican state and city. This expression is the creation of Maestro Candido Reyes. It is made from wild tobala agave, which are roasted in a stone pit oven and then milled using a tahona wheel. The agave juice is fermented in pine vats before the mezcal is double distilled and bottled at 46% ABV.
