About this bottle

Founded in 1819 by Alexandre Bisquit and his son-in-law Adrien Dubouché, the brand was known as Bisquit for many years before reverting to its original name in March 2020. The XO bottling primarily utilizes eaux-de-vie from the Grande and Petite Champagne regions of Cognac. It is aged for a minimum of 10 years in French oak and bottled at 80 proof. Its US debut occurred in late 2021 in California, Texas, and Florida, with further expansion planned for 2022.

The aroma is rich and refined, featuring wood, cocoa, tobacco, prune, and baking spices. The palate is oily, presenting the same notes. The finish is long with a smoldering spice and a hint of licorice.
