Douglas Laing has introduced The Smokehouse Edition, a limited-edition bottling released for the 2023 Fèis Ìle (Islay Fest). This expression is a blend of single malts originating from distilleries on the Isle of Islay and has undergone a predominant finishing period in red wine casks, representing the first time Big Peat has been finished in wine casks. It became available in May 2023 through select whisky specialists in the UK, Europe, and Asia, as well as online retailers, priced at £65.00/€74.00.
