Tatum Nagel 3.3

Nose: Smells of the seaside, peat, charred wood, and some off-putting fusel oils. Mouth: Immediate peat, tar, and smoke from burnt wood. It's more sour, and the young fusel oils are a bit bothersome. There's a touch of citrus and saltiness, along with a tingling alcohol sensation. It leaves the mouth quite dry. It feels substantial, but not as much as anticipated. Finish: Charred, ashy logs and tar linger even after scrubbing my teeth. Overall: It's acceptable. Not overpowering and still not bad. Will I continue to drink from the bottle? Yes, though it will likely last 9-12 months. Will I purchase it again? I don't believe so. I'd rather save up for Ardbeg Ten or Uigeadail for my next peated purchase.
