Douglas Laing's limited edition Big Peat Beach BBQ Edition arrived for the 2022 Fèis Ìle, bottled at 54.2% ABV cask strength. This bottling is a combination of single malt whiskies originating from distilleries on the Isle of Islay. Production is capped at 3000 bottles, which will be offered through select UK, European, and Asian whisky retailers, as well as online sellers.

This whisky is created by blending undiluted single malt from Islay distilleries. The intense peatiness was striking, though not universally appreciated. (Korean translation: This whisky is said to be made by blending undiluted spirits from Islay distilleries. It was an Islay Festival limited edition in 2022. The peat aroma was very strong and impressive, but it might be difficult for the general public to enjoy.)
