Arrogante Reposado

A mellow and sweet aroma greets you, featuring floral notes and faint sourness. It's not unpleasant, but it completely lacks smoke and any remarkable qualities. An initial bitter dryness gives way to quickly fading sweetness. The mid-palate offers a peppery sensation, followed by a minty finish with some tart citrus. Notably absent are any pronounced agave flavors. The agave sugars are quite diluted, though a touch of sweetness emerges through the harsh dryness. It possesses slightly more kick and personality than 1800, but only marginally. This tequila fails to deliver some of the more engaging reposado traits and won't be receiving any accolades. It's essentially an average offering, assuming one can overlook its rough and unpolished nature.

Notes: Abundant vanilla, subtle pepper, well-integrated on the nose. Taste: Satisfying mouthfeel, coats the palate well. The pepper and vanilla from the nose continue, very smooth with no harshness from the pepper. A nice finish, with light roasted agave adding the perfect touch of sweetness.
