Adictivo Whiskey

This pour is very much like the Adictivo Anejo in its sweetness and ease of drinking. It almost seems more like a tequila that finished in a whiskey barrel rather than the other way around. It's very sweet with hints of agave and cherry cola. An interesting and enjoyable pour, but bourbon traditionalists will likely have issues with it. Hopefully, they can relax and appreciate the sweet, cocktail-like flavor this bottle provides. I'm pleased to have a bottle to savor and share.

A pleasingly orange-tinged scent on the nose. Quite aromatic with a hint of sweetness. Smoothness is evident due to adequate maturation. A lightly grassy and vegetal profile from tequila barrel aging, yet distinctly whiskey-like to maintain its identity. Quite warm, featuring classic baking spice notes like cinnamon. Likely not worth the cost, but quite enjoyable.

Wow! This is certainly a unique product. The tequila barrel imparts a lot, though not in the way anticipated. Moderately sweet from start to finish, with a cola flavor present. Overall, an extremely drinkable whiskey with noticeable sweetness and smooth flavors. Definitely worth the price. However, it's not for traditional bourbon enthusiasts. An excellent whiskey in my opinion.

Sweet aroma, with Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper on the palate, accompanied by some toasted coconut and charcoal. Surprisingly complex and utterly delightful!

It wasn't the worst beverage I've encountered, but this whiskey did not appeal to me. The tequila influence was excessively strong for my palate.

Tastes like Añejo tequila from Adictivo, but in whiskey form.
