The eighth release in Bardstown Bourbon Company's Discovery Series combines Kentucky bourbon, Indiana rye, and aged Canadian whisky. The final blend was further matured with a selection of oak staves, including those from French toast and Rioja barrels. Bottled at 114.1 proof, it became available at the distillery and in select US markets on July 13, 2022.

Starts with a pleasant cherry note, then offers nice oak and maple, quickly followed by pleasant rye spice. Some barrel char is present. The finish is extended by the French oak staves and lasts for days. This whiskey is complex, revealing something different each time. The aroma is equally beautiful. So good
Anticipated this release! I enjoy the sweet Canadian corn whiskey! The scent was of sweet brown sugar and sugar cookie! The flavor mirrored the aroma, but what truly stood out was its maple syrup-like thickness and how the taste lingered on the palate. This is my favorite among the 4-8 reviewed!

A gentle bourbon aroma and initial sweetness that develops into honey, peanut, orange peel, chocolate, raisin, and fig. The finish is dry, lengthy, and subtly grassy with herbal notes. Quite distinctive. The oak is noticeable at the end.
Surprising sweet and fruity aroma. Very smooth on the front palate, then the rye spice delivers the Kentucky Hug at the end. A really good pour, but unsure if it's worth $130 a bottle. Unique blend of different batches.
Hot, the burn dominates and hides the other flavors. Starts with a dry, oily oak taste, followed by light fruit, then dry nutmeg. Buttery mouthfeel.
