Pleasant, but generally subdued, as is typical for the standard espadín. Aroma of smoke, earth, oranges, and tamarindos. Soft taste of oranges, smoke, roasted agave, earth, and a hint of vanilla. Not outstanding, but mezcal is almost always enjoyable, so it's still a success.
