This is my preferred lightly aged pot still rum, offering a sweet, smooth texture and a lingering palate. It surpasses Bayou White rum and Pritchard's Crystal rum, both enjoyable non-aged white pot still rums found on the eastern seaboard.

About this bottle
Wicked Dolphin utilizes 100% Florida sugar for its rum, produced at their Cape Coral, Florida distillery. They employ an American copper pot still, noted as "the largest in South Florida," and subsequently age the rum for an unstated period in previously used Kentucky bourbon barrels.

This is my top choice for a lightly aged pot still rum. It has a sweet, smooth texture and a lingering taste. It's a step above Bayou White and Pritchards Crystal, which are also pot stills found on the eastern seaboard but are unaged white rums (both are quite enjoyable and recommended too).
