It's a decent, acceptable spirit for me. Smooth with a pleasant finish. It has a sweet, almost floral flavor profile. It wasn't as smoky as I had hoped. I'll finish the bottle but won't repurchase it.

About this bottle
The Reposado con Gusano is a distinctive offering within the Wahaka Mezcal line. It is the only aged mezcal in the collection, beginning as the Joven Espadín and maturing for four to six months in re-charred American oak barrels. This expression is also the sole Wahaka bottling that includes the well-known gusano (worm), which the brand suggests helps to "clarify the radicals of the barrel" and is believed to possess beneficial properties.

Crafts an outstanding Mezcal Old Fashioned (prepared with agave, orange, and aromatic bitters, stirred with an orange peel).
Great flavor. There's a slight burn upon swallowing, but it's very enjoyable. A great pour at this establishment.
To be honest, it's acceptable. It's an older bottle, so perhaps that's the reason? It's not the best available.
Vegetal & green notes on the front of the palate. Clean & sweet mid-palate, with a smoky finish.
Notes of tobacco, agave, and gasoline. Quite smooth!
