About this bottle

The Ensamble is distinct within the Wahaka range, which typically features single-agave mezcals. Mezcalero Alberto “Beto” Morales considers the Ensamble a remarkable creation, blending three distinct Wahaka mezcals: Espadín (50%), Madre Cuishe (25%), and Tobalá (25%), resulting in a complex and full-bodied spirit.

James Dowdy 4.0

I like it, aside from the mineral taste, which is understandable given my fondness for their espadin, which makes up 50% of this. It's a bit expensive considering it's 50% of a less expensive bottle. I might just buy the tobala and combine it with the espadin to see the result.

Journey Hopson 5.0

Incredibly smooth, like water. It's subtle yet intricate. The smokiness is understated, with rich flavors upfront on the palate. Possessing a bottle of this indicates good taste.
