Annamarie Good 4.0

Neat. The aroma is light and fresh. Notes of agave, light fresh tropical fruit, raw jalapeno, some vegetal notes, citrus, and saline. Taste is sweet agave, green olive, fruit, and light herbs. The finish is sweet and tart with some bitter herbal notes. Overall, it's quite tasty and easy to drink with no unpleasant flavors. It's interesting because I can discern the blend of Valley and Altos agave. Nice bottle, no additives. Slightly expensive. It competes with some very good blancos that I would favor.

Alton Saldana 4.5

Volcán Blanco is crafted with a primary focus on the agave. The distillery uses a blend of highland and lowland agaves to create a distinctive expression. The aroma presents raw and cooked agave, complemented by notes of orange, pear, dry herbs, and a hint of smoke. The flavors echo the aroma, with raw and cooked agave, fruits, black pepper, caramel, and subtle spearmint notes on the finish.

Exceptional liquid. The combination of highland (fruity) and lowland (herbal) agaves creates an outstanding taste. Agave is very prominent, and the alcohol is perfectly integrated. Produced in a distillery that exclusively makes volcan. Genuine product.

Bennie Padgett 4.5

fantastic joven tequila with classic characteristics that are well-integrated. A simple choice given the cost ($40). I still like the aged version for sipping, but the joven is perfect for mixed drinks

Emilia Morris 3.8

Vanilla, pineapple, pepper, saline, herbs, and citrus. A bit light and might get lost in a cocktail but enjoyable neat.

Cindy Crum 4.0

Smooth and quite pleasant. Its excellent sweetness makes you want more.
