About this bottle
Mezcales de Leyenda introduced this bottling in 2017, featuring agave salmiana sourced from San Luis Potosí. The agaves are cooked for two days in a clay oven. Following crushing, the juice and fibers undergo open fermentation in cement tanks for five days, then are double-distilled in a copper still. Crafted by Master Mezcalero Juan José Hernández, this unaged mezcal is bottled at 42% ABV.
