Alcoholic, sweet, with a strong alcohol aroma. The smokiness is more akin to tobacco and blood than cheese and fish. I'd say the smokiness is suited for a dry spirit, but the sugar is overpowering here. Not a harmonious spirit for me. The flavors pull it in different directions; there's no balance.
