Consumed neat at ambient temperature. The scent is mild, showing green apple, agave, wood, vanilla, a hint of herbs, and little warmth. The flavor mirrors the aroma. The texture on the palate is moderately thin. There's a decent amount of agave sweetness, immediately countered by oak tannins and vanilla, which softens it. Some citrus/lime zest and pleasant spices from the barrel emerge toward the end—allspice/nutmeg and cinnamon. Combined with that vanilla, it's pleasing and not overly sweet. The only heat is at the finish. It's more of a warming sensation from hot cinnamon than alcohol, but it's not excessive at all. Drinkable in a bind. A good value for a utility tequila made from 100% agave when mixed with more potent flavors

A full-bodied agave spirit, twice distilled at Tequila San Matias de Jalisco Distillery Nom 1103 in the Highlands - Los Altos region of Mexico. It presents a robust beginning with flavors of stewed stone fruit and wood. Its complex journey introduces cooked agave, green notes, botanicals, and a touch of heat. The finish is mellow and satisfying, with undertones of rye, spearmint, capsicum, sugary vanilla, soil, and woodsmoke. February / May / June 2019
Very light in color. The nose has pepper, vanilla, agave, caramel, and oak. It's peppery and slightly harsh on the palate with hints of hay and agave, plus vanilla. Not outstanding, but quite decent for a $28 1.75 liter bottle.
This tequila is strictly for mixing. It possesses a lot of flavor and works wonderfully in your preferred cocktail that calls for tequila.
This was my initial experience with a reposado. I drank it over ice and savored every drop. I strongly recommend it!
Harmless, but slightly rougher than millagro respado. A comparable flavor profile.
