About this bottle
Tequila Ocho, conceived by Tomas Estes and Carlos Camareña, is distinguished as the premier and sole single-estate vintage tequila available. By sourcing agave from individual ranches and utilizing only that distillate, Ocho effectively conveys true terroir and seasonality in each release. The Los Fresno's estate features undulating terrain between 2068m and 2078m. At the time of harvest in late April 2013, the agaves averaged seven years of age and possessed a sugar concentration of approximately 27.6% due to a lack of rainfall.
