The aroma is rich, carrying a significant scent reminiscent of aged scotch, along with earthy tones and a hint of lime peel. The palate is very earthy, with some cinnamon sweetness and hints of chocolate complemented by mint. The alcohol interacts with the mint, creating a flavor that's a bit too prominent, though it doesn't spoil the overall experience. The richness in the long finish is quite pleasant and brings to mind a certain other expression. I'd be interested to taste a more vibrant version of this, as there's definite potential. If the alcohol were less assertive, this could be quite good. The vanilla and butterscotch notes are particularly enjoyable. The stewed agave integrates seamlessly. It possesses some of the depth of a reposado while also being satisfyingly indulgent. Subtle bell pepper vegetal notes emerge with the mint, along with the faintest hint of anise. It's a solid spirit for sipping, but refining the flavors to tame the alcohol would be beneficial. The complexity is appealing, but the alcohol significantly overshadows it.

About this bottle

It undergoes a double distillation process and is aged for two full years in lightly toasted French Limousin oak barrels. I was quite surprised by the smoothness of this Tequila. It does possess a 'whiskey-like' finish, but without an unpleasant burn, and it retains the distinct Tequila agave flavor. You'll also detect subtle spices, along with hints of vanilla and cream soda. Excellent when paired with cheese and a chosen meat, ideal for after dinner.
A top-tier tequila for sipping, this Casa Noble añejo spends two years aging in lightly toasted French limousin oak, yielding delightful notes of oak, vanilla, and toffee. It has an exceptionally smooth and tannic mouthfeel, featuring flavors of oak, black pepper, vanilla, and touches of chocolate. Best enjoyed neat.
Quite spirited. Compared to similar añejos from Patron and Don Julio, this one seems less refined and delivers a strong impact. This is a highly desirable outcome. More akin to piloting a spirited two-seater rather than cruising in a sedate sedan. Highly recommended for those who favor bold tastes.
A rich, sweet aroma with hints of vanilla frosting, citrus, cake, agave, and a touch of black pepper. It's sweet but lighter on the tongue, dominated by vanilla cake, though the agave and citrus are slightly more present. The finish is minimal. Acceptable.
Neat. The aroma is pleasant...vanilla, fruit, agave, honey. The flavor is smooth, with a medium body, sweet, agave, oaky, like juicy fruit gum, and a hint of pepper and cinnamon. The finish is similar, with the sweetness persisting for some time. Overall, a delightful tequila, leaning towards the sweeter side.
