About this bottle

Rancho El Vergel, meaning "The Orchard," is situated at an elevation exceeding 6,500 feet and features the distinctive red, iron-rich soil typical of the Highlands region. Located near Arandas, Carlos Camarena's father, Felipe, initially considered El Vergel unsuitable for agave cultivation. Tequila Ocho produced the very first agave crop on the rancho, which had previously been used for growing limes and peaches.

Cadence Bui 4.3

The initial impression is of fresh agave, lots of fresh grass, light, with flavors of pineapple, lemons, grass, salt... The metallic and mineral flavors are appreciated, it feels like a young tequila, unburned green wood!...
