About this bottle

Tequila Ocho holds the distinction of being the first and only Single Estate vintage tequila available. It is the creation of Tomas Estes and Carlos Camarena. Each bottle is hand-filled, labeled, and features Tomas's personal tasting notes on the back. All agave is harvested from family-owned fields, allowing each estate's expression to reflect its unique terroir. "El Puertecito," the most northerly agave ranch in the Tequila Ocho collection, yielded plants that were approximately 25% over-mature or decaying at harvest, resulting in a high sugar and acidity content.
