About this bottle
Tequila El Mexicano Añejo is an additive-free tequila from the family-operated Tequila El Mexicano, made with fully mature 100% blue weber agave sourced from the Highlands of Arandas, Jalisco. Produced at Hacienda El Mexicano (NOM 1588), the tequila undergoes a slow autoclave cooking method, open-air fermentation, and a double distillation in stainless steel pot stills. It is then aged for 14–16 months in a blend of new American oak (70%) and new French oak (30%) barrels. This expression, released nationally in April 2026, expands the brand's established lineup of blanco, blanco 90, and reposado. The suggested retail price is $50.
