About this bottle

Tap 357 Canadian Maple Rye Whisky is created by blending Canadian rye whiskies aged for 3, 5, and 7 years in used bourbon barrels. The resulting blend is then infused with Grade 1 light Canadian maple syrup sourced from Quebec.

Miracle Stack 2.8

Tap 357 maple rye 40.5% alcohol. It's a blend of 3, 5, and 7-year-old whiskies. As I recall, this is bottled in Canada and then brought here. I have an older bottle, likely from before 2013, with a different label. Maple syrup was added to the whisky blend and then rested or aged together. It has a synthetic cork. Smell: Sweetness like caramel candy, maple, and butterscotch. Taste: Caramel, butterscotch candy. The sweetness is dominant, with a light to moderate maple presence. There's a touch of rye spice, but not much oak or barrel flavor. It's incredibly smooth, almost like water. This turned out better than I anticipated and wasn't excessively sweet, but overall it's above average for me. I'd suggest this to individuals who prefer sweeter spirits. Cost: $27.99 plus tax for a 750 ml bottle Rating: C+

Roscoe Desantis 4.0

This is quite strong. I prefer it served over ice, specifically three cubes. It has excellent notes reminiscent of the 3-5-7 year blend. Upon reaching the palate, it's sharp with an initial bite and kick, but as it settles, a maple flavor emerges. After a second taste, it still has impact but goes down smoothly. It's a fine product and clearly superior to comparable options like Jim Beam Maple or even flavored Crown Royal. Give it a try; you won't be let down. Enjoy!

Jose Jernigan 1.0

The aroma is very light, followed by a delicate mouthfeel and a subtle finish that evokes the faint sweetness of maple syrup on a barely used fork. Its purpose is unclear.

Andre Sousa 2.0

I also tried this at Disney. It was too sweet. If you enjoy that flavor, Crown Maple is superior. It's essentially like drinking thin maple syrup, though it goes down smoothly.

Hollie Keyes 4.0

Quite good, though perhaps excessively sweet for many. It offers a very clean maple finish.

India Cabrera 1.0

Excessively sweet for a whiskey. I could have poured it over my waffles.
