About this bottle

Introduced in 1888, Stravecchio Branca Brandy was the second product released by Fratelli Branca, following Fernet Branca. This Italian brandy originates from trebbiano grapes and undergoes an initial aging of 4-5 years. Afterward, it is transferred for 2-3 months into one of Europe's largest single casks, a Slovenian oak vessel known as the "botte madre" or "oak mother barrel," which is maintained at one-third capacity. The name "Stravecchio" translates to "extra old." This brandy became available in the US in November 2019 for the first time.
