Among the limited number of Calvados I've had the chance to try, given their scarcity in Ontario, this stands out as the finest I've encountered so far. It presents a very intriguing blend of acidity and sweetness, as one might anticipate from a Calvados. Priced at $82 in Ontario.

About this bottle
This spirit, like all Drouin Pays d'Auge bottlings, is crafted from 100% apples and distilled in wood-fired antique stills over an open flame. The aging process primarily utilizes reconditioned ex-Bordeaux barrels, occasionally incorporating sherry, port, and cognac casks, along with some less common choices for added complexity. Their Hors d'Age is aged for more than 15 years.
