About this bottle
The Osopher, a restricted American single malt, honors Stranahan's co-founder George Stranahan (1931-2021). He also established the Flying Dog Brewpub in Aspen in 1990. This bottling features Stranahan's whiskey barrels, previously employed to age Flying Dog Imperial Road Dog Porter. Following the beer aging, the barrels returned to Stranahan's for an additional four months of maturation on this 11-year-old single malt. Initial distribution begins at the distillery in August 2022, with a broader national rollout anticipated later in the year.
